Agents may need to restrict user participation in community threads, like for product announcements or thread control.

a) How do I lock a community thread and prevent users from adding replies or comments in Smarter Mail ?

1. First, log into your agent account on the Brand’s Portal.

2. Then, click on the Community button.

3. Afterwards, submit a new thread or navigate to an existing thread.

4. Finally, click on the “Lock Thread” button under the “Actions” heading to the right of the thread, which is marked with a red “Locked” label.

5. To unlock a thread and enable users to add comments or replies, navigate to the thread and click on Unlock Thread.
