Smarter Track Event Automation: Streamlining Processes with Ticket Time Log Triggers

Smarter Track’s event-driven architecture allows system administrators, managers, and agents to receive notifications when specific events occur. For instance, administrators can use the event system to automatically receive notifications when time logs are added to work orders. The process for creating the most common ticket time log event is similar for other ticket time log events.

a) How do I create agent-level ticket time log events in Smarter Track ?

1. First, log in to the Smarter Track management interface as an agent.

2. Then, click on the menu icon and select “Settings” from the drop-down list.

3. After that, click on “My Events” under “My Settings“, and a list of events will appear in the content pane.

4. Next, click the New button in the content pane toolbar to create a new event, which will open a new event mode.

5. Then, enter a name for the event in the name field.

6. After that, select tickets from the list in the category field.

7. Next, select Ticket Time Log Created from the list in the Type field.

8. Then, click OK.

9. After that, click on the Options tab.

10. Next, check the options that apply to the event.

11. Then, click the Action tab.

12. After that, click on Add Action.

13. Next, select Send Email from the list in the Action field.

14. Then enter the From and To fields.

15. Finally, click Save.
