Google Drive simplifies file storage and access through the cloud, allowing access from any computer with an internet connection. It also allows editing of files uploaded from compatible programs like Microsoft Word or Excel.

a) How do I upload files to Google Drive ?

1. First, click on the New button, and then choose File Upload to upload files to Google Drive.

2. Then, find and select the file you want to upload, and click “Open“.

3. Finally, the file will be uploaded to your Google Drive.

Note: File uploads can be done by clicking and dragging them from your computer to Google Drive, depending on your browser and operating system.

b) How do I upload folders to Google Drive ?

1. First, click the New button and select Folder Upload.

2. Then, find and select the folder to upload, and click OK.

3. Finally, the folder and its contents will be uploaded to your Google Drive.

c) How do I convert a file in Google Drive ?

1. First, locate and double-click the file you want to edit.

2. Then, the file preview will appear, and you can click “Open” at the top of the screen.

3. After that, the file will be converted into Google Docs and displayed in a new tab.

4. Finally, return to Google Drive, and you will see two copies of the file: the original and a new version in Google Docs format.

Note: To automatically convert files when uploading them to Google Drive, click the gear icon, select “Settings“, and check the box next to “Convert uploads“.
