Google Doc owners have complete control over user permissions and can delete the document at any time.

a) How do I transfer ownership of a document ?

1. First, open a Google Doc you own and click the Share button.

2. Then, use the Add people and groups field to share the document with others.

3. After that, click the drop-down arrow next to the desired person and select “Make owner“.

4. Next, click Yes to confirm this permanent change.

5. Finally, the new owner of a document immediately takes ownership, altering your permissions to the editor unless otherwise specified and preventing you from deleting the document.
