Customizing Error Pages in cPanel: A Step-by-Step Guide

The cPanel error page displayed the webpages that have a problem that visitors visit and each type of problem has its own status code.

a) How to modify an error page in cPanel

1. Log into cPanel and navigate to the Advanced section to select Error Pages tool or search for the Error Pages tool in the search bar.

2. Then, choose the domain or subdomain from the Error Pages interface’s drop-down menu to configure an error page.

3. After that, select the error code for which you want to edit the error page. You can select from common error codes or click All HTTP Error Codes to see a list of all error codes.

4. Next, you can enter the HTML code of the selected error page in the HTML editor that opens. You can also use predefined tags in your code by clicking a tag to insert it into the editor.

5. Finally, click the Save button to save the changes.
