Configuring type of PHPMyAdmin Settings: A Comprehensive Guide

PHPMyAdmin offers an intuitive user interface for managing database server settings, enhancing security and allowing only authorized users to access it through authentication settings.

Type of PHPMyAdmin Settings Guideline

1. Log into PHPMyAdmin. (You can get your PHPMyAdmin URL inside your cPanel or Plesk.)

2. To set up the installation script to automate the process, click “Settings” and select “Manage your settings“. Scripts offer fine-grained control, save settings in JSON/PHP format or browser storage, and import them similarly.

3. To authenticate users using other authentication mechanisms like HOTP and TOTP applications or hardware security token and password authentication for FIDO U2F, navigate to “Settings” and click the “Two-Factor Authentication” button.

4. To configure the database, text fields, page titles, warning messages, console, and general settings, click on “Settings” and then the “Features” button.

5. To display a SQL query, confirm its deletion, and configure the SQL query box, including options for interpreting SQL, creating PHP code, refreshing options, and other, navigate to “Settings” and click the “SQL query” button.

6. To configure display settings for servers, databases, and tables, navigate to “Settings” and click the “Navigation Panel” button.

7. To customize the splash screen, database structure, table structure, browse mode, edit mode, tab, and relational mode display, click on “Settings” and then the “Main Panel” button.

8. To customize export and import settings, navigate to “Settings” and click on the “Export“, “Import” button.
