Changing FTP Account Password in Plesk: A Step-by-Step Guide

FTP upload is a convenient method for updating website content, allowing files to be transferred between two hosts like your computer and a Plesk server, which acts as an FTP server and requires an FTP client.

a) How to change the FTP account password in Plesk ?

1. First, log into your Plesk control panel.

2. Then, click on the “Websites & Domains” tab on the left navigation bar of the page.

3. After that, select the desired domain, click on it, or click Show More to expand the action to change the FTP account password.

4. Next, click “FTP Access” to proceed to the next page.

5. Then, the user will be presented with a list of FTP accounts, allowing them to choose the FTP account for which they wish to change their password.

6. Finally, enter your new password in the Password field, re-enter it in the Confirm Password field, and click the “Apply” button to save changes.
